77 days until Christmas!

Exciting isn't it? And guess what that means....time to start thinking about all those gifts that we need to buy, make, wrap, ship, etc! Now, because there are 77 days before this wonderful time of year, this is no time to procrastinate! Think about how much more joyous December will be in your house when all your gifts are wrapped and ready. (and hidden in the attic, if you're anything like me!) You will be able to enjoy this time with your family without any added stress! (I'm preaching to the choir, people!)

There are several ways to prepare for this special time of year, that will help keep you on track, organized and most of all, right on budget. (Under budget is even better!) This year, since you have the time now, try going "out of the box" a little bit and tune in to your creative abilities! There is an awesome website that I frequent called "You Can Make This" that can lead you in the right direction. There are many crafts and project and gifts that you can find here, and the best part of it is you can print all the directions or patterns needed right from your own printer! No more going to the store for a pattern or template, or waiting while your online purchase shows up in the family mailbox.

Now go make your lists, check them twice, and think out of the box! Handmade gifts are much more personal and special to both the giver and the receiver. You might surprise yourself at how creative you can be!
